Peek-a-Boo.
Today it was a wee bit difficult to be grateful because I attempted to go shopping and couldn’t find anything to fit…hay….nonetheless I am grateful because I can still go shopping! In the end, I am reminded that things to be grateful for are just a peep away.
Just as I was getting very frustrated, I read a plurk posted by a friend of mine about a Positive Photo Blog Contest in her new site, Framed In Sunlight where she has photos that are not just pleasing to the eye, but also have a lot of very positive insights to share.Not only did the idea of the contest spark interest, her blog is actually aligned with my own blog’s goal. You see, often times it is so easy to see only the dark and twisty details of our lives, the things that are missing, and the flaws we have, just like the leaves I captured in this photo. We often fail to look whats beyond those flaws. Once we do, we might just find something good saying peek-a-boo in the background.
I fervently believe we can make a difference in our world if we stop being so cynical all the time, and perhaps start appreciating the simple things that come our way. It may not be a solution to the worlds problems, but I think this can start healing the world we live in. What do you think?
